Emily Gillmor
We’re excited to be working with Emily; we’re looking forward to seeing this very talented emerging artist flourish.
Emily Gillmor studied Drawing and Painting with Printmaking at Edinburgh College of Art. After spending 5 years living in Russia, Emily returned to Reading where she now lives with her 3 children. She is currently Printmaker in Residence at the University of Reading. Daughter of the well-known linocut artist, Robert Gillmor, Emily works in all print media but her speciality lies in screen printing. Many of Emily’s works are on paper but she has been developing a series of works on canvas, which is then stretched and framed. Although Emily is based in Reading, she visits Cley regularly to see her parents and take in the landscape – especially Cley beach. Emily enjoys translating her drawings into vibrant screen prints.
Please note, price shown is for unframed prints (unless otherwise stated in the description)
